The beautiful village of Writtle had their annual fair week, and our team was pleased to take part in all the fun happening on the green.
Cara and Craig, from our Writtle Co-op Funerals branch, were on hand with a gleaming limousine full of balloons for a ‘Guess How Many…?’ competition.
Congratulations to the young winner, James, who correctly guessed the total amount of balloons. He won a hamper full of goodies from our nearby Co-op Food Store on Bridge Street!
Our Family Liaison Officer, Cara, said; “We had a lovely day, and it was great to meet so many people. Although they knew we’ve been a part of this community for many, many years, a lot of them had never ventured through our doors even though our branch was right there next-door! It was great to be a part of the day and prove we’re normal people.”
Several hundred pounds was also raised by the Co-op Funeral team for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance thanks to those taking part.
