Were you wearing your Royal British Legion poppy today, in honour of fallen soldiers?
Every year, as we approach Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, our team assist the Royal British Legion in distributing their poppies and collection pots to venues across Essex. So if you bought your poppy in one of our Co-op food stores, or the Quadrants, or in any number of other venues around the county that are nothing to do with the Chelmsford Star Co-op, it was likely there because Craig or one of his team dropped it off!
If you pass one of our branches in the next few weeks, take a look at their Remembrance Day window displays. Our Family Liaison Officers have all made them by hand.
