Our popular annual memorial Christmas service took to the internet for the second year running recently, as the team live-streamed the event from their Baddow Road funeral home in Chelmsford.
The event was introduced by our Society President, Judy Saunders, with Reverend Rod Reid and Ken Lodge supplying readings and prayer plus musical interludes by a local bagpiper (see main photo). Several of our funeral team were in attendance to help ensure all current COVID-restrictions were adhered to.
The service was watched live from far and wide, with comments left on Facebook throughout the screening including the following from Tony Gudgeon, watching from Yorkshire; “A lovely service giving hope and peace to those who have lost loved ones in these difficult times.”

Last year’s service was watched by over 2,600 people in the run up to Christmas 2020.
