Remembrance Day Services… November 14, 2019

Our Funeral team in Danbury provided ‘poppy’ motif locally-sourced muffins alongside teas and coffees to keep people warm during the services at the war memorial on the green in Danbury on Sunday.

Crowds gathered to take part and mark their respects for Remembrance Sunday including the Royal British Legion and local scout groups.

Meanwhile, Writtle Church was filled to the rafters for the Remembrance Sunday service which was supported by our funeral services team.

Craig Jackson (Funeral Operations Manager) commented “It was fantastic to see so many people turn out to mark their respects for Remembrance Sunday and it was a great pleasure to serve refreshments to them. Thanks very much to my team for giving up their Sunday mornings to help.”
