We’re proud to have launched a new ‘Funeral Builder’ service.
Aimed at assisting those recently bereaved, it allows the user to receive a quote for a funeral that is “as accurate as possible to their individual wishes” without them having to pick up the phone.
Funeral Operations Manager, Craig Jackson, said of the service; “We know from experience that sometimes the recently bereaved don’t want to talk about their loved one’s death because it makes it all too real, and they aren’t yet ready to accept it. Our new Funeral Builder helps the user to understand their options, giving them the chance to chop and change their ideas and come up with a funeral service that is right for their situation, at their own pace and in their own home, free from any perceived pressure. The user is presented with a personalised quote which is fully itemised to clearly explain how that price is calculated.
One of our Family Liaison Officers will then only follow that up if the user wants us to. We’re very excited to be launching this service across Essex and we hope it helps those who need to use it.”
