Chelmsford Star Co-operative Funeral Services have a brand new look. Falling under the umbrella of Co-op Funeral Directors, each of our branches has now been specifically named after the community it serves to really highlight our local roots.
Part of the Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society family, Co-op Funeral Directors will continue to support the Essex region, as we have done for 150 years. The name may have changed, but we are still offering the same award-winning, ethically-minded, locally-based co-operative funeral service across Essex.
Our Funeral Operation’s Manager, Craig Jackson, said: “I hope everyone likes the new look and name as much as we do. We felt it was important to draw attention to each community we operate in, and minimise any confusion surrounding the name ‘Chelmsford Star’ in branches outside of the city. Plus, who doesn’t like purple?”
The change rolls out at the same time as a new website and social media presence. Look up @yourlocalfuneraldirector on Facebook to find out what our team are up to.
