Following the Prime Minister’s press conference last Saturday, the rules regarding the wearing of face-masks in public places have been updated.
The latest precautionary measures mean that, from first thing Tuesday 30th November 2021, face coverings have once again become mandatory for all colleagues and clients unless medically exempt.
Those using our funeral services will be offered the chance to continue their arrangements over the phone with our Family Liaison Officers if they are uncomfortable wearing a face-covering in our branches.
Our colleagues have been following the practices laid out by the UK government to combat COVID since March 2020, so adapting to this latest change is not expected to cause any disruption.
The Society will continue to monitor all government guidance and will reflect any additional changes in our ways of working as appropriate.
