Meet our family liaison officer
Carolyn Russell
Carolyn joined Co-op Funerals in October 2019. As she provided cover for all offices for over two years, she developed a wide range of local knowledge across many areas of Essex. Then began a stint at our Danbury branch where she learned about Masonry.
Prior to her time with us, Carolyn worked at Chelmsford Crematorium for over three years as a Chapel Attendant, including assisting with Ash Interments.
Carolyn particularly enjoys helping to arrange the music and photographs for services for our clients, as she feels a certain song, or a special photo, can hold so many memories.
Please call the branch on 01245 422622 for help with arranging a funeral. Click here to find out more about our Funeral Directors and Operatives.

You managed to take my random emails and texts and conjure them into a wonderful service, well done.

Every care was given to both our dear mum as well as the family. Support was second to none. Thank you.

Excellent, professional and caring service from all the staff involved. Everyone made us feel like my mother's funeral was the only one that they had to deal with and it was as important to them as it was to us. I can't speak highly enough of the compassionate service we received.

“Just wanted to say thank you for all your help and support. I don’t know what we’d have done without you. The role you play in the transition through grieving is invaluable.”

We were very pleased with the service received from the George Yard branch. Lynne was most kind and helpful in arranging the funeral including the beautiful flowers. The funeral staff on the day checked arrangements before attending and were well turned out. All in all everything went to plan which we were most grateful for.
