Meet our family liaison officers
Jackie has worked with us since 2007, supporting families through a difficult time. She has helped out at the branch’s bereavement group for over a decade and says those attending find it a great comfort. She also organises a summer trip and Christmas meal.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, socialising and spending time with family. Jackie shares the job with Kim and works from Monday morning until Wednesday lunchtime.
Kim has worked part-time for us since 2014 and is also a qualified palliative care nurse at St Francis Hospice. She feels the two roles complement each other, caring and helping families through a difficult time.
She enjoys walking and has organised a sponsored walk for the local Little Havens charity. Kim enjoys a job share with Jackie and takes over on Wednesday lunchtime, working until Friday afternoon.
Testimonials for Ingatestone Funeral Directors
The undertakers were wonderful – solemn, respectful, dignified. Their professionalism was very reassuring at a difficult time. The order of service was perfect and the Royal British Legion were magnificent. Moments from the service will be etched in my memory and I will treasure forever.
Mrs N, Ingatestone

“Thank you for the excellent service you gave. As we live quite a distance away, you made it considerably easier for us. The funeral was a lovely send off. Many thanks again at a difficult time.”
