Funeral Directors in Great Dunmow

When you have lost someone and are grieving, we offer care and support in a warm and friendly environment.

We opened our Great Dunmow funeral home in White Hart Way, in the centre of this historic marketing town, in 2012.

We work closely with local churches and are connected to the Three Counties Crematorium in Braintree, and also those in Chelmsford and Harlow.

We look after families from Stebbing, Bardfield, Thaxted and Saffron Walden, as well as Great Dunmow.

Parking is available at the pay and display car park by the nearby food store. Any parking fees incurred will be reimbursed.

Meet our family liaison officers

Lynne Atwell

Lynne AtwellLynne joined us late in 2017, and works in our Dunmow branch from Monday morning to Wednesday lunchtime.

She enjoys learning about the lives and history of the people coming into her care, and using that to make sure any arrangements meet their and the family’s needs.

Lynne lives near Dunmow with her husband, following a spell living abroad, and enjoys water aerobics and walking their dog Bullseye through the fields of Stebbing.

Marion North

Marion NorthMarion joined the funeral business in 2017, coming from the banking sector.

Marion enjoys a job share with Lynne and is in the branch Wednesday afternoon until Friday evening.

A big fan of Great Dunmow and its community, she switched career to stay in the village and is very proud to be able to support its residents when they need it most.

In her spare time, Marion enjoys reading and cooking and has recently taken up yoga (although she admits she has no sense of balance).

Please call our family liaison officers on 01371 875542 for help with arranging a funeral. Click here to find out more about our Funeral Directors and Operatives.
