Meet our family liaison officers
Vanda Harmer
Vanda joined the company as a Family Liaison Officer in 2019, but she is no stranger to Danbury.
Prior to working with us, Vanda worked at Danbury’s tea rooms, and also sings as part of the local choir. Her hobbies include reading and running.
Vanda job shares with Sian, and looks after much of our masonry work. She says she enjoys her work as, “I like to help families when they’re going through hard times”.
Sian Gower
Having worked within another area of Chelmsford Star Co-op since 2017, Sian decided to make the move in to the funeral division in 2021.
Sian hopes that her new role will allow her to help people, specifically by alleviating some of their stress in what could be someone’s most difficult and vulnerable time.
Her spare time is dedicated to her family life, and to further her interest in history.
Please call our family liaison officers on 01245 221444 for help with arranging a funeral. Click here to find out more about our Funeral Directors and Operatives.

Testimonials for Danbury Funeral Directors
-
When lockdown started, your bereavement group - which I've been a member of for 6 years - had to be suspended. However, this hasn't stopped your branch manager being in regular contact. The group would like to thank Jackie for her continued support during these challenging times.

Everyone was personable and respectful of mum, and of us as a family. We were impressed by the professionalism of all staff, including Caroline who stood outside the office this morning whilst the funeral director walked slowly in front of the hearse.
The J. family, Danbury

Very happy with the service we received. In the current circumstances we were kept well informed and everything was done very efficiently. Special thanks to Jane who was very helpful.

I was grateful for the team who collected dad and for Kari who called me to explain the funeral process. No funeral can ever really be described as "cheap" but Kari was able to help me not waste money. She was kind and caring throughout the organising stages and we got the service we planned.
