Funeral Directors in Braintree, Essex
Chelmsford Star Co-operative Funeral Services has two branches in Braintree: one is in George Yard, right in the town centre, where people are welcome to come and see us to discuss funeral arrangements.
The other is in light and relaxing surroundings in Clare Road, a former modern church. This branch offers not only a chapel of rest where you can visit your loved one in private but also an adjoining chapel where we can arrange a special remembrance service, whatever their faith. We also arrange non-religious funerals.
We have plenty of parking available in front of our Clare Road funeral home. If coming by public transport, our nearest bus stop is in London Road and we are just a short 5-10 minute walk from the bus station in town and the train station.
As well as serving the community in Braintree since 1993, we also support families in Bocking, Halstead and Witham, working closely with local churches as well as the Three Counties Crematorium in Braintree.

In these challenging times with funeral restrictions the support and guidance was there for me every step of the way and every reassurance was given to me that the service would be delivered impeccably and indeed it was. I am very appreciative of this.
